I grew up in a military family, which meant we moved every few years.

 By the time I was twelve, I had moved five times!  As such, I am very comfortable with change and empathize with the families in this transient area of the country.  In 1996 I moved to Northern Virginia and I absolutely love it!  My husband Chuck and I attend many of our three children's sporting events which take us all over Northern Virginia.  Prior to entering the world of Real Estate six years ago I was a computer programmer/analyst in the information technology world for two decades.  My attention to detail and methodical thought process are skills that I've been able to use in both professions.  I am very comfortable with helping people sell their homes (traditional and short sale) as well as helping them purchase a home, whether it is the first time, an investment property, or a "move-up" home!  I listen to each client carefully so that I am able to truly discern their wants from their needs.  My relationship doesn't end once we finalize a transaction, it's long lasting.  In fact 95% of my business is based on referrals from former clients as well as friends, neighbors and my former colleagues.
